Football Coach's Toolbox

We want you to be involved in the excitement of flag football at White River Sports.

All teams will have at least one coach, and all must go through a criminal background check (We do this for the safety of the kids and families involved in White River Sports).

Serve Opportunities: 

Flag Football Coach
We are looking for coaches who love teaching kids.  Coaching in WRS is a blast and a very rewarding experience.  All of our coaches are required to attend a Coach Training. Training includes all the details about the flag football format, answers to your questions, & coaches will receive their rosters. All coaches are required to attend.

• Weekly Time Commitment: 2.5 hours
• Skills Needed: Patience and the ability to work with kids and parents.
  
  

Football Referee
Referees are some of the most important volunteers in our program. They are expected to officiate the game as well as coach the players on the field to help them learn the game. We do provide training for referees and expect all who volunteer for this position to go through the training.

• Weekly Time Commitment: 1 - 3 hours/week
• Skills Needed: Patience and the ability to work with kids and parents; the ability to blow a whistle
