Football Coaching

We want you to be involved in the excitement of flag football at White River Sports.

All teams will have at least one coach, and all must go through a criminal background check (We do this for the safety of the kids and families involved in White River Sports).

Coaching Resources:

Flag Football Coaches Training (Required to coach)
Training includes all the details about the flag football format, answers to your questions, & coaches will receive their rosters. All coaches are required to attend.

Time Commitment: 2.5 hours/week
Skills Needed: Patience and the ability to work with kids and parents.

Football Referees
Referees are some of the most important people in our program. They are expected to officiate the game as well as coach the players on the field to help them learn the game. We do provide training for referees and expect all who volunteer for this position to go through the training.

Time Commitment: 1 - 3 hours/week
Skills Needed: Patience and the ability to work with kids and parents; the ability to blow a whistle
