What is White River Sports?

White River Sports is a newly named sports organization, a ministry of White River Christian Church that introduces youth, adults, and families to Christ through the vehicle of Sports. 

Why White River Sports?
Formerly known as the Upward Sports Ministry at White River Christian Church, the name change to White River Sports was brought on by the fact that we not only want to connect kids to Christ through sports, rather people of all ages, adults, kids, and families, seek and desire to be a part of recreational opportunities in their community.

Mission Statement
White River Sports exists to reach our community through athletic competition and wellness programs, in the name of Jesus, who changes lives.

What ROLE do you play?
Something that you will hear around here often is...

PLAYERS Compete.
COACHES Coach.
FANS Cheer.

Everyone, young or old, spectator or athlete, official or coach, knows their role and how they are to compete in a Christ-like way when they take the field/court.

Who can play in our leagues?
You can.  It is that simple.  We are a sports organization focused on the community around us, and we would love for you and your family to join us in the exciting things that are happening at WRS every single day.

Where are we located?
The Outreach Ministry office is in the Annex Building on the campus of White River Christian Church, just south of the main building, located at 1685 North 10th Street in Noblesville, IN.  The Outreach Office is open Monday - Friday from 9am - 2pm.  The Main Office is open from Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm.
